The Refund app pulls your actual income-tax data straight from the government's ITR portal — no manual calculation, no guesswork. Tap once, see exactly what the government owes you (or what you owe them).

The Process
Sign up with your name, email ID, and mobile number. Only your email and password are stored — nothing else.
After login, provide your PAN number, ITR portal password, and date of birth to authenticate with the Income Tax portal.
Hit "Calculate Refund." The app connects directly to the official ITR portal and retrieves your actual filed tax data.
A popup shows exactly how much refund you'll receive from the government — or how much tax you owe. Data is never stored after this.
How the math works
The app authenticates with the ITR portal using your PAN, password, and DOB — the same way you would log in yourself.
The portal compares Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) by your employer against your actual computed tax liability for the financial year.
If TDS > actual liability, you get a refund. If actual liability > TDS, you have tax due. The app shows you this figure directly — no manual calculation.
Important: The Refund app does not perform independent tax calculations. All figures are retrieved directly from the Income Tax Department's official portal (incometax.gov.in). The data you see is exactly what the government has on record for your PAN and the selected financial year.
Privacy Policy
We built Refund with one privacy rule: store the bare minimum, and nothing sensitive — ever.
Every tax check is a self-contained transaction. When you hit "Calculate Refund," your PAN, ITR password, and DOB are used in a single, encrypted request to the ITR portal. The moment the result is returned and shown in the popup, all credentials are discarded from memory. Nothing is written to disk or any database.
We do not share any personal data with third parties. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not profile users.
